Our client is expanding and looking to the future with an emphasis on developing the tax team.
The firm is flexible in making the next appointment and can consider either someone with tax or general practice experience so long as you have a basic understanding and experience in corporation tax. The role will be flexed to suit your level of ability and training / support will be provided in areas that need addressing.
Summary of opportunity
- The role itself will have a Corporation Tax bias but will also provide exposure to other areas of taxation.
- Initially the role will revolve around the management of a client portfolio which will contain some significant clients and provide excellent career exposure.
- The client requirements will to start off with be in respect of Tax Compliance but you will also gain exposure to advisory work especially where the Corporate Finance team need assistance in dealing with the taxation implications on specific projects.
Person Specification
- Either ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified or nearly qualified.
- Looking to develop a tax career with an interest in developing tax consultancy skills for the longer term.
- May also have an accounting background which would be beneficial but not essential.
- A confident personality with the ability to communicate at all levels and enjoy working in a team environment.
