An experienced Audit Senior is required for a leading independent Practice based in South Manchester.. Following a number of successful client wins recently, the firm are looking for a Qualified Audit Senior with management potential, as it is expected the role will lead to an Audit Managers role within 1-2 years.
Based in the firms impressive offices in South Manchester the Audit Senior will take responsibility for:
- Leading Audit assignments including planning the fieldwork process and reviewing the work of juniors.
- Supervising junior members of staff in the field ensuring that work is completed to a high standard within deadlines.
- Completion of the audit pack for Partner / Senior Manager review.
- Preparation of annual financial statements for clients.
- Liaising with clients over queries relating to their financial affairs.
- Various ad hoc duties.
The Audit Senior should be qualified with experience of leading Audit assignments gained within a reputable Practice. They will be able to demonstrate leadership potential and experience of supervising juniors previously would be a distinct advantage.
Excellent client facing skills are essential as is the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
