Clarke Roberts has been instructed by a Top 10 Firm of accountants to recruit a Supervisor to join their business services department to focus on accounts based work.

This is a non audit position with responsibility for:

The preparation of accounts for a mixed portfolio of clients including large corporates and SME’s with a focus on year end statutory accounts.
Experience of managing a client portfolio is essential and a strong understanding of financial reporting standards, consolidation technique, SORP, charities and UK GAAP is required.
Supervise the work of assistants within the department and report directly to the management team.

You will be ACA/ACCA qualified with strong accounts production skills, the ability to demonstrate commercial awareness and add value to your client portfolio.

You will be encouraged to play an active role in the growth of the office through networking and identifying business opportunities.

This position is based in Stoke.
