Clarke Roberts has been instructed by a National Top 20 Firm of Chartered Accountants to assist in the recruitment of a Private Client Senior Manager.

You will join a small but strong management team providing a range of services to a private client base including landed estates and rural businesses. Specifically you will manage a varied portfolio of private clients which will involve dealing with old money, families, businesses and trusts and also entrepreneurs, their businesses and tax planning work.

The position will involve:

• Completion or review of IHT returns.
• 70% Advisory & 30% Compliance.
• Overall management of tax department.
• Involvement in marketing initiatives and staff training.

To apply for this position you will be:

• CTA Qualified.
• The Step Qualification would be an advantage.
• Currently an experienced Senior Manager or strong Manager ready to step up.
• Technically sound in all areas of Capital Taxes, particularly IHT.
• Knowledge of Trusts is essential.
• Knowledge of Heritage assets issues is an advantage.
