Vacancy Overview

Clarke Roberts has an excellent opportunity for an ACA or equivalent qualified Senior to take responsibility for a range of audit assignments and specialise in the Charities, Academies and Not for Profit Sector.

Reporting to Partners and Directors, you will be responsible for planning, resourcing and completion of work to agreed budgets and deadlines, taking ownership for staff on assignments and delivering a high level of client service.

The successful applicant will have strong technical ability in dealing with accounts, audit, VAT, tax, PAYE and will ideally have a good knowledge of Academies, Charities and Not for Profit clients.

To be considered for this position, applicants will need:

· ACA or equivalent qualification
· previous audit experience including paper based and IT based auditing systems
· a sound understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, UK GAAP and corporate tax
· good communication skills
· good IT skills, including audit software, Word and Excel
· a driving licence and a car insured for business use
